Having a problem with keyboard that is very hard to explain

Hello.
I am using an Apple Wireless bluetooth keyboard that is designed for iPad Pro and it works really great. Though I realized something. I was using the keyboard and found a new set of commands that let me switch between apps in Slide Over and split view but when restarting VoiceOver, they are gone. I can say that VO plus hyphen would basically turn on or off music and with that other commands it would open the dialogue for labeling elements. Can I get some help with that?
